The restaurant industry jump started the FBS niche in the early 80's and really paved the way for many other industries to take advantage of accelerating the fast-tracking of construction schedules. It was very apparent back then that something needed to be changed in the process because it was taking over 120 days to complete a 2,000 to 3,000 square foot Quick Serve restaurant facility, and FBS was instrumental in setting the new standard of completing restaurants in less than 60 days.
